photoelectric proximity sensor
The photoelectric proximity sensor is an advanced product which detects the presence or absence of objects without the need for contact. Working on light, commonly infrared or visible light, it emits a light beam which is interrupted by an object. This triggers a signal. Its main functions include: detecting the position of parts, counting, detecting whether a material is present or absent. Technically speaking it has high precision and various detection ranges as well as being able to ignore dust and color differences. The sensors are used extensively in automated systems, packaging, robots and other industrial tasks where non-contact detection is essential.
